On Wednesday, 13 November 2024, we celebrated an exceptional milestone — the 50th anniversary of the ICT school. This special occasion brought together professors, respected members of ATUSS, to which our School belongs as a Department, students, alumni, as well as representatives from partner companies, in honour of half a century of innovation, growth, and achievements.

The celebration began with speeches from the Head of the Department, Stevan Veličković, PhD and the President of ATUSS, Ana Savić, PhD.

During the celebration, we had the opportunity to watch a film about ICT's 50-year-long history and recall some wonderful moments and accomplishments. In line with this, the Head of the Department presented awards to retired colleagues, long-time partners from companies who played a key role in supporting the school's mission, as well as certificates and awards to the best students. This was a recognition of the dedication and contributions of all those who helped shape the School into what it is today.

The Department’s ceremonial celebration was accompanied by the chamber music of the Musica Arte string quartet, whose careful selection of pieces added a special elegance and formality to the anniversary. After the ceremony, the guests continued to enjoy each other's company and a delicious buffet, making this day truly special.

This celebration not only marked a significant anniversary but also served as a reminder of ICT's commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders in information and communication technologies. The event was a fitting tribute to the legacy of the past, the success of the present, and the exciting future ahead for our School and everyone who is part of its community.
